FUN. is an American indie-pop band with its base in New York city. This band is better described as the irresistible and indefatigable live band. I am an admirer of this band. I am very happy to know that this band is coming to Singapore. Singapore will be their first Southeast Asian stop in their international tour. FUN. is all set to perform in Singapore on March15, 2013 and the venue is The Coliseum at Resorts World Sentosa. FUN. is also the most nominated artists as far the upcoming 55th Annual Grammy Awards are concerned with 6 nominations, which also includes the prestigious award of 'Best New Artist'.
I liked hit single of FUN. - 'We Are Young' (featuring Janelle Monáe) - that was used in a Chevy Superbowl advertisements in 2011. This is also the song that brought them fame and FUN. has since then ruling the charts along with bagging numerous awards through their superb tunes such as 'Some Nights' that is also the band’s acclaimed debut, which was nominated in the category of Album of the Year, as well as, Best Pop Vocal Album.
Apart form Singapore, the American band is all set to perform in other countries such as Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, New Zealand, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and the United Kingdom during their international tour.
